Bozeman restaurant to be featured on national cable network

A local restaurant is being feature on a national cable network. Last week, producers from the Cooking Channel show Pizza Masters spent about eight hours taping an episode on the Western Café.  



The café has been a Downtown Bozeman staple since It opened back in 1930.  The owners were told the Café was chosen because its a mom and pop operation that uses local ingredients.  During the taping they taught the Pizza Masters how to make Western Cafe specialties including cinnamon rolls and biscuits & gravy.



At the Western Café they take pride in not just their food and decor but also the atmosphere. "People come here and you can sit, just talk to your neighbor and it's just like nothing.. I don't know it's the feel of Bozeman.  The Bozeman that used to be and always was and we just never let go of that," explained Julie Gandualla, whose mother owns the Cafe. 



The episode of Pizza Masters featuring the Western Café airs this fall on the Cooking Channel.
